Our kids’ Magical September school holiday classes are here! Do you have a budding junior chocolate maker at home who would enjoy hanging out with our team and learn the fundamentals of working with chocolate, cake and plenty of creative decorating techniques? Let them exercise their creativity in our kitchen (and we will handle the mess!)

We are opening the magenta doors to welcome in our junior chocolate makers and we couldn’t be more excited! This class is perfect for the kids who can’t miss an episode of their favourite dessert show and love sharing their creativity by making sweet treats for their family and friends. This class is for ages 9-14yrs. Please contact us for older age groups and/or private group bookings on other dates (minimum numbers apply).

Each creative child will make and take home their own Magical Enchanted Forest Cake Box

• Skills they will learn:

  • an understanding of how to plan out your cake design and work neatly

  • the difference between different types of chocolates and understanding which one is best to use for different tastes

  • how to make chocolate decorations for cake decorating and the chance to play with different chocolate utensils

  • how to make magical forest character cupcakes and cakepops including a variety of buttercream and chocolate techniques

  • how to fill piping bags neatly and pipe buttercream in different shapes using different piping tips

  • how to use different ingredients to create texture and creativity in your project

This is a small class to ensure we can give each child lots of help.

Pre-requisites

• Previous experience playing in the kitchen and a willingness to have fun!

• This class will be pre-requisite for an intermediate kids chocolate class which will be release at a future date.

Age & Other Requirements

• Classes are suitable for children aged 9-14yrs (not suitable for younger children) ( if you have older children please contact us for private class options)

• Adults are welcome to enjoy a coffee and dessert while the kids enjoy their class or return to collect your child at the conclusion of the class.

• Please ensure your kids wear close toed shoes and long hair tied back.

Other Information

Please drop the kids off no more than 5 minutes before the class time and collection at the completion of the class time ( please arrive promptly as staff have to prepare for subsequent classes).
