fairytale children’s high tea

We welcome you to join us for our very first Fairytale High Tea Event for Children. Inspired by our love of Enid Blyton’s The Enchanted Wood, we created this event for our benefit as much as for the kids. Designed to immerse the children in a world of wonder, we have designed a fairy tale menu featuring some of the wondrous fare enjoyed by Silky, Moonface, Joe, Beth, and Frannie (or Jo, Bessie, and Fanny depending on your vintage).

This 2-hour event will include:

• a magical table groaning under the weight of a fabulous feast for the kids with an assortment of delectable desserts, sweet wonders, tasty savoury bites and forest potions to quench their thirst;

• an arts and craft activity designed around the Enchanted Wood

• a special reading from the Enchanted Wood series

• a chance to paint a flower on our magical mural walls to become part of the fabric of iluma

• a take-home goodie bag filled with magical goodies

Who is this for?:

This event is designed for children 6+yrs - 10yrs.

Allergies:

We will not be including nuts in our desserts or savoury items; however, the products will contain gluten, eggs, milk, soy, sulphites and may contain traces of nuts, seeds and other allergens due to shared equipment.

What to wear:

Our team are all looking forward to an excuse to dress up; we would love the kids to join us in dressing up as their favourite magical creature or fairy tale character. Please wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes.
