It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at iluma!

Welcome the Christmas season with our first ever FAMILY GINGERBREAD MANSION DECORATING EVENT!!

We have always dreamed of helping families create special memories at Christmas. We love the American and UK tradition of families gathering at the local community hall to create festive treats and displays to bring the Christmas spirit to life so we have decided to throw open the magenta doors to local families wanting to get elbow deep in some holiday cheer!

What to Expect: Our team of elves will walk you and your loved ones through the construction and decoration of your very own Gingerbread Mansion to take home and display during this holiday season. It wouldn’t be Christmas if we didn’t stuff you full of treats so our merry little elves will ply you with plenty of iluma sweet treats and virgin egg-nog while you decorate away to your heart’s content and sing-a-long to Christmas carols.

When: We are releasing one day time and one evening session to get the bauble rolling but we hope to release more dates soon.

What’s Included: This is a 2 hour event which includes:

• 2 hour hands-on decorating session where each family will construct and decorate their Gingerbread Mansion

• light festive refreshments including iluma sweet treats and virgin egg-nog or tea or coffee

• We will provide you with a Gingerbread Mansion kit which includes pre-baked walls, roof, board, royal icing, gingerbread people and plenty of edible decorative bling and lollies to make your mansion look extra lux! All tools and equipment will be provided.

• Our kitchen elves will be on hand to help guide you through the construction of your mansion and give you tips and tricks on giving it a glamour make-over but will step back to allow you to add your own personality to your mansion.

Who is this for?

This event is designed for families. Each ticket price is for 1 Adult + 1 Child (6yrs +). Add-on tickets are available for purchase for extra adults and children. Please note, these are add-on tickets only and do not include additional Gingerbread mansion kits. This class is designed for children 6years plus due to small sweets and items that could present a choking hazard for younger children. Add-on tickets are available for children aged 6+. Please note, we are unable to accommodate babies in prams for this event due to space limitations.

Allergens

Products in use contain gluten, egg, dairy, soy, sulphites, colours and may contain nuts (tree & ground), seeds, lupin and other allergens due to shared equipment. Please note, royal icing is made from concentrated powdered egg white (contains albumen /albumin protein).

Safety & Courtesy Requirements

• We request Big Persons and Little Persons wear enclosed non-slip footwear to keep your tootsies safe (sneakers are ideal)

• Please tie back long hair and leave loose jewellery at home

• Please keep mobile phones on silent

• Please do not bring professional cameras to this event as it can be distracting for other families

• Please limit photography and videography to your Gingerbread Mansion to ensure the privacy of other families

Cancellations

All tickets purchases are final, non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you are purchasing the ticket as a gift or multiple tickets,please provide the details of the person attending including allergies/special dietary requirements.

Change of Date or Cancellation of Class

We require a minimum of 3 families to run this session. In the event that we must change the date or cancel the class, we will provide you with a choice of a replacement date or a full refund within 7 business days of notification of cancellation.
